Peter Ijigue Monkom

Ijigue Peter Monkom holds a National Diploma in Accounting and Audit from the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi. Prior to his current employment as Accounts and Documentation Officer for New Era Educational and Charitable Support Initiative, he worked previously as Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant at Creative Minds International Academy, Jos from 2007 – 2009, as well as Accounts Supervisor at NASCO Foods, Jos, Nigeria from 2004 – 2005. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a professional body of Accountants in Nigeria. He has attended several trainings and workshops in Nigeria on Peacebuilding, Interfaith Dialogue, Project Management and Proposal Writing, among others. Among his publications include: Fraud Control and Prevention in Government Establishments: A Case Study of Plateau State Hospitals Management Board in 2004. Peter is happily married to Mrs. Margaret Ijigue and blessed with three children.

Peter Ijigue Monkom has attended several accounting and financial management professional development courses in Nigeria and abroad, including training on Organizational Accounting Systems, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, organized by United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Casablanca, Morocco, for Winners of the UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund Grant, 2013 Edition.
