Ase Blessing Iveren holds two Masters Degrees. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria, and another Master of Science Degree in Criminology from the Nassarawa State University, Keffi. She holds several other Certificates, including Certificate in Building and Leading Effective Teams from the Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), Abuja, Proficiency Certificate in Management (PCM), from the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) CHARTERED, Abuja Chapter and Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from the Kogi State University, Anyigba- Kogi State.
Ase Blessing Iveren currently serves as Policy and Advocacy Manager for New Era Educational and Charitable Support Initiative (NEEDCSI), since 2017. In that capacity, she provides policy analysis and leadership on a number of our key policy issues, including development financing, education, and transparency and accountability. She heads NEEDCSI’s Policy and Advocacy Team to help identify trends and issues regarding aid development, develops innovative actions and leverages efforts to maximize our impact. She leads NEEDCSI’s policy & advocacy work, including managing relationships with relevant external groups, preparing documents on specific development issues for a range of stakeholders, lobbying targets and audiences and crafting articles for blog posts, briefing documents and talking points.
