NEECSI Hosts Peacebuilding Assembly in Bauchi

New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation, a URI CC, with support from Global Center on Cooperative Security and Carefronting Nigeria, hosted the Bauchi Stakeholders Peacebuilding Assembly tomorrow, Wednesday, 16th October, 2019 at the Fariah Foundation School Hall. This is part of our efforts at engaging and mobilizing stakeholders for community peacebuilding in Bauchi State, Nigeria. The Permanent Secretary, Bauchi State Ministry of Education, ably represented by the Head of School Service, Hajiya Aisha Mohammed Hassan, was Special Guest of Honour. Other dignitaries included the controller Nigeria Correctional Service Bauchi, The principals of Divine International School, Government Day Secondary School Shadawanka, Fariah Foundation School Bauchi, as well as the Executive Directors of Bauchi State Network for Civil Societies (BASNEC), Women Empowerment Initiative (WEIN) and a host of many others, including students representing our School-based Peace Education Clubs in Bauchi State. A total of 110 (43 male and 67 Females) participants attended the Bauchi Stakeholders Peacebuilding Assembly
